Sharon Owens Accepts Endorsement from New York State Attorney General Letitia James
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Democratic and Working Families Party candidate for Mayor of Syracuse, Sharon Owens, announced today that she has received the endorsement of New York State Attorney General Letitia James.
In her endorsement, Attorney General James highlighted Owens’ vision for public safety, economic development, and investment in young people as the keys to Syracuse’s future.
“It is my honor and my privilege to work with you as we focus on affordability and and as we focus on public safety, together,” said Attorney General Letitia James. “I look forward to working with you, and I congratulate you. I proudly endorse Sharon Owens for mayor.”
The endorsement from Attorney General James adds to a growing coalition of elected leaders, labor organizations, community advocates, and everyday Syracusans rallying behind Owens’ vision for an inclusive, equitable, and forward-looking Syracuse.
