Owens Accepts Endorsements from State Senator Ryan, Democratic Caucus of the Onondaga Legislature

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Democratic and Working Families Party candidate for Mayor of Syracuse Sharon Owens announced she received the endorsements of State Senator Christopher J. Ryan, representing the 50th Senate District, and the Democratic Caucus of the Onondaga County Legislature.

Senator Ryan said, “I’m proud to support Sharon Owens for Syracuse Mayor. Sharon knows that real progress starts with collaboration by bringing people together, listening, and getting things done. She’s earned the respect of organized labor and community leaders because she leads with integrity and puts people first. I have no doubt she’ll bring that same spirit of partnership and purpose to City Hall.”

The Democratic Caucus of the Onondaga Legislature is represented by: Minority Leader Nodesia Hernandez (17th District), Dan Romeo (7th District), Palmer Harvey (9th District), Maurice Brown (15th District), and Charles Garland (16th District).
