Sharon's Statement on OCDC Endorsement

As a political outsider, I always knew earning the party’s nomination would be challenging, but I am grateful to everyone who supported and voted for me during this process. Our campaign isn't about politics, but about my legacy of service to this community, our children and families, and the future of Syracuse.

For over 40 years, I have worked side-by-side with Syracuse residents—helping families secure housing, advocating for essential resources, and ensuring our most vulnerable neighbors have a voice. I have never backed down from hard work, and I understand that addressing our city's challenges demands bold action paired with compassion.

The campaign continues. I'll be working hard to secure a place on the election ballot. I look forward to the primary and to building a stronger Syracuse together.
